Weddings

Your wedding day is the most important day of your life. It will also be quite a busy day, so it's nice to know that things are being taken care of photographically.......

My job, as a photographer is to provide you with a reminder of that day, capturing those precious moments throughout the day, being available to you for the more formal images, whilst fading into the background to capture the candid images which later bring a smile to your face.

Depending on your chosen package, I start the day with some candid shots of the bride preparing for the big day. The excitement and activity captured as the ceremony approaches.

Then it's off to the church or Registry Office, for some pictures of the guests arriving. The Best Man and Groom, waiting nervously at the altar. Then the arrival of the bride and the ceremony begins. During the ceremony I will be taking shots of the important parts, exchange of rings, the first kiss, the signing of the register.

After the ceremony the traditional pictures are taken outside the church, and then at the reception venue. I will then carry on in the background, capturing the days events for your later enjoyment.

I tend towards a Reportage/Candid style of photography for most of the day. This involves taking unrehearsed images throughout the day, which when put together will be a chronological view of your wedding. Nothing is set-up, I will stay in the background and capture the fleeting moments most often missed. It is these 'candid' images that bring a smile to people's faces when viewing them afterwards.

The more formal, traditional family line-ups are taken immediately after the ceremony, I try to keep this down to about 30 minutes or so.
